Finance

 

The Finance Committee is responsible for organizing events and initiatives with the intention of promoting financial transparency and education in the Wharton Women community. Members invite prominent figures in finance for our Women in Finance Speaker Series, spearhead informational workshops to spread financial knowledge through the organization, and envision and execute finance events like student panels and stock pitches.

 
 

2026 Committee

Viktoriia Bregen

Viktoriia Bregen (Class of 2028) is from Northeast Philadelphia, originally from Western Ukraine, and plans to pursue a concentration in Finance and Behavioral Economics. She joined Wharton Women her freshman fall on the Finance Committee and continues to be an active member. Outside of Wharton Women, Viktoriia is involved in Wharton Together, Nonprofit Connect, and Penn Traditions. In her free time, you can catch Viktoriia rewatching Game of Thrones, sipping coffee, and cooking with her little sister.

Lina Mousa

Lina Mousa (Class of 2029) is from North Jersey, and plans to pursue a double concentration in Finance and Statistics. She joined Wharton Women during her freshman fall on the Finance Committee. Outside of Wharton Women, Lina is involved in the Wharton Venture Group, Student Federal Credit Union, Arab Society, and STEP. In her free time, you can find Lina trying new restaurants, side questing, and petting cats.

Makena Reno

Makena Reno (Class of 2028) is from Kansas City and plans to pursue a major in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with a minor in Consumer Psychology. She joined Wharton Women her Sophomore Spring on the Finance Committee. Outside of Wharton Women, Makena is involved in Wharton Undergraduate Finance Club, Wharton Retail Club, The WALK Magazine, the PPE Undergraduate Assembly Board, and UPenn’s Division of Business Services. In her free time, you can find Makena baking with her roommates, trying new pilates classes, and playing tennis.
